In an era where more and more kebab restaurants get bloated with flashy presentations and meaningless food experiments, Göçtü of Yalıkavak stands firm and solid with excellent food and atmosphere. This place is a local classic. You can’t find flashy presentations and oriental gibberish here, but there is very tasty food all around, garnished with excellent meat and beautiful view. Located just outside of Yalikavak city center towards Gümüşlük, Göçtü is located directly at the shore, with a small pier extending on to the sea. Make a reservation in advance because this place is crowded all year long. Prices are not cheap but I’ve seen more expensive, so it’s totally worth it. Try their cig kofte, any type of kebap and mezes. You’ll definitely love it.

I’m sorry guys but I do not feel comfortable going to a restaurant that it’s not a menu. This restaurant does not have a menu. Basically if you are a local the price is 500 if you are a tourist 1000. They do not have rice which is VERY unique for a Turkish restaurant and they take a long time to get your order.

Went for lunch with my Turkish friend, I was last here 3 years earlier just before the pandemic, food just gets better, highly recommended

The restaurant has a nice dining area where you can watch the sunset. The stuff was kind. The prices were average based on Bodrum’s restaurants’ price.

Had a great time at this restaurant. Meze’s were good but the star of the show is the Kebab. Our server was great and everyone were very hospitable although they did not speak english that much! Heads up there is no menu so do look at the pics on instagram or google to check out their food if you are tourists like us. Price is fair to what we are used to from back in Canada.
